I'll be traveling overseas, what do I need to do?

Answer

Note:
In addition to the steps below, we highly recommend checking out our international travel article for other helpful tips.
  • If you'll have access to Wi-Fi or Cellular data on the device you've already registered:
    • You should be all set! So long as you have a data connection (mobile data, or Wi-Fi) then your push notices will still work
    • Keep in mind, an iPad, or an Android tablet can always be registered as a second device.

  • If you won't have access to wifi or cellular, but will have the ability to receive calls or texts on your mobile phone that you've already registered:
    • You should be good to go. Keep in mind, that calls and texts while over seas are usually more expensive. Check with your cellular provider about temporary plans that may help keep costs down.

  • If you'll have access to a local number or local cell phone to the country you'll be traveling to, you may be able to register that as a second device.

  • If none of these are an option. Please contact the Support Center.
