Server Not Accepting Logons

Overview

When attempting to login to ImageNow the process returns the message "The server is not currently accepting logons, please try again later."

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow the steps in this section.

  1. Login to the Sunglow server
    1. At a CMD prompt, change to directory D:\inserver6\bin64
    2. Enter the command inserver -ka   (this will kill all ImageNow services)
  2. Using SQL Server Management Studio, login to imagenow_db
    1. Enter the SQL command Select * from IN_SC_Connection  (this will show all current connections)
    2. Enter the SQL command Delete from IN_SC_CONNECTION   (this will delete all connections)
    3. Enter the SQL command Select * from IN_SC_Connection  to verify that the connections have been deleted
  3. On the Sunglow server
    1. At a CMD prompt, change to directory D:\inserver6\bin64
    2. Enter the command inserver -ga   (this will start all ImageNow services)
  4. Test logging into ImageNow
