Error When User Logs into SoftDocs

Overview

The student or employee receive a sign in error when clicking on a Softdocs form link.  Links to Softdocs forms will look similar to this: https://etcentral.indwes.edu/#/form/2

If the user hasn't been given permissions to SoftDocs, they'll see an error like the screenshot below that says "The signed in user <username> is not assigned to a role for the application IWU Softdocs"

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow the steps in this section.

  1. Student or employee needs to be added to the Azure AD for SoftDocs.
  2. Please contact someone from the Infrastructure team to fix.
