If after installing Maple you receive the error "FLEXnet Licensing Error: -5,414" check the following:
- Open the License.dat file on the computer (usually located in C:\Program Files\Maple XX\Licensing\)
- Verify that the Server, and port are indeed correct, currently this should be 2vm11 and 27001
- If these settings are correct try checking the maplelmg.opt file on the server and ensure that the user account that is currently logged in but receiving the 5414 error is listed in this file (Jack Alexander can do this portion)
- Once the name is added, and the services on the server are restarted, the user should then be able to access maple.
