SPSS installation Notes

-There is a defect in SPSS 23. The workaround is to browse into the installation directory of SPSS 23.

1. The default was C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\23 
2. Open the 23 folder and locate the file spssprod.inf.
3. Locate the line DAEMONHOST=
4. Change it to DAEMONHOST=no-net
5. Save the file with a file type of "All Files".

*If you receive an error about saving the file back into the 23 folder, save the file to your desktop. Copy the new spssprod.inf into the 23 folder overwriting the old one. Launch SPSS and the menu items should be correct.
