How to Clear Temporary Files in Edge

Overview

This guide will walk you through clearing your temporary internet files for Edge.  It's a good idea to perform this on occasion to keep your pages loading properly.

Steps

1. Click on the icon () in the upper right corner that looks like three dots.
2. Select Settings from the resulting menu.
3. Select Privacy, search, and services or scroll down and click on the Choose what to clear button under Clear browsing data.
4. Ensure that the following options are checked:
   • Time range drop down is All Time
   • Browsing history
   • Cookies and saved website data
   • Cached data and files
5. Click on the Clear button.
6. Close Microsoft Edge and then reopen the browser.
