Artifact Upload Issues (Video, Images and other attachments)

Several Candidates have recently had troubles uploading documents due to their Internet Browser being out of date. Please make sure you are using the most current version of your browser and if you experience trouble after upgrading your browser, try a new install of an alternative free browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari. If this does not allow you to upload your artifacts, please try the following:
If you have not already viewed the M.Ed. Candidate ePortfolio Orientation video, please find it here:
On your Dashboard tab (in your ePortfolio) is a section called News. You may need to expand it if you do not see a list of articles. Timestamp {1:26} in the video link above walks you through finding this Guide.
Find the News item for the MED Candidate Guidebook and use the View button on the right to access the document download link. Click on the link and open or save/download the .pdf (If saving, make sure you note where it is being saved on your computer so you can find it to open it.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: This may be different than what you have received with your coursework.
On Page 8 is a list of allowable artifact file types.  If your file-type is listed here by extension, then please let me know as we may have another issue I will need to research.  If it is not on this list, please save your file/artifact into an acceptable format and try to upload it again. NOTE: Not everyone may have access to the application you are using, so by saving your file in these more commonly used applications, you ensure your assessor can see your work.

Please note, that a “sample.doc” is different than “sample.docm”, even though both are similar, one file extension (.docm) may not conform to the correct allowable file/artifact type.

On Page 19 or Video Timestamp {13:26}, you will find the steps to submit an ePortfolio section for assessment. If you are receiving an error on any of the pages, please log a ePortfolio ticket at and include as much detail about the error as you can.
