Clearing Windows 7 Java Cache


Identifies an issue with your Java Cache in Windows 7 and explains how to resolve the issue.


You may find that when accessing WebNow you receive a Java error or simply a white blank page.  This can be resolved by cearing your Java chche.  Learn how using the steps below.


These are the steps to clear your cache in Windows 7.

  1. Go to the Start menu and select Control Panel.

  2. Double click on Programs.

  3. Double click on the Java icon.  A new window will open.
  4. On the General Tab under the Temporary Internet Files section, click on Settings.

  5. A new window will open.  Click on Delete Files.

  6. A new window will open.  Make sure both boxes are checked and click OK.  This window will close when the files have been deleted.

  7. Close the Java Control Panel window and then close the Control Panel window.
  8. Confirm that you can log into WebNow.
