Document Camera Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure the Doc Cam is turned on. Press and hold the power button to turn on. The blue LED ring surrounding the power button indicates the power is on.
    1. If there is no blue LED ring around the power button, then the device is not receiving power.
      1. Connect the power cable to the jack labeled DC 12V IN, on the back panel of the base of the doc cam.
      2. If the teaching station is not powered on, make sure it is plugged into the wall power outlet, and that any master power switch is in the ON position.
    2. Wait for it's lengthy boot-up cycle to complete
  2. Verify that the lens cap has been removed. It is on the underneath-side of the tallest part of the camera.
