Account Inactivity

Know When Your @myemail.indwes.edu Account Expires

After 31 days  without access, an @myemail.indwes.edu account becomes inactive. This means that when you sign back in you'll be prompted to reset your password. New messages sent to your account during this time may or may NOT be delivered.

Note:
Accessing your account via your mobile device, or via a mail client such as Outlook, Thunderbird etc. DO count as account activity, keeping your account open and active.

 

When Your @myemail.indwes.edu Will be Deleted and Reassigned

After 360 days (five days short of a typical year) of inactivity, an @myemail.indwes.edu account is permanently deleted. If you don't use your an @myemail.indwes.edu (which is your @myemail.indwes.edu email address) for 365 days (about a year), it, too, can be permanently deleted. Somebody else can take your @myemail.indwes.edu address!
