Outlook - (Office 2013)

This guide explains how to setup your IWU MyEmail account in the Outlook application.

Before completing these steps you should first be able to sign into your Outlook.com account. If you need assistance with this process please follow this guide:


First we need to access Windows' Email setup screen.

  1. Open your Start Menu or Start Screen

  2. Type "Control Panel" once the menu or screen comes up and open it. (It will automatically do a search for you.)

  3. In the control panel menu open "Mail"

  4. Click on “Email Accounts”

  5. Click on New

  6. Click Next

  7. Check “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” and click Next

  8. Check “Internet E-Mail” and click Next

  9. Enter your information:

  10. Click "OK"

  11. Click on Next

  12. After a few seconds you should see a screen that shows items completed successfully

  13. Test your account by launching outlook and verify you are now receiving messages.
