The University attempts to be in compliance with the various Hazardous Waste, Hazardous Materials, and Right-to-Know Regulations. Periodically, all employees will receive information regarding hazardous materials on campus; proper storage, disposal, and safety; labeling and other related concerns.
A Material Safety Data Sheet is a standardized form giving specific information regarding product identification, product hazard summary, product health hazard information, first aid, and personal protection information. These are kept in the various departments across campus as well as in a centralized file in Facilities Services.
In case of any question or emergency involving these materials, the Material Safety Data Sheet should be referenced without hesitation.
This policy applies to all the employees of the University.
