Transfers

Policy

Employees are generally expected to serve in the position for which they are hired for two years prior to transferring to another position within the university. Exceptions where there is a clear institutional benefit may be approved by the Vice President responsible for the area in which the employee is serving.

 

To request a transfer, employees must complete a "Transfer Request" form which is available online at the Human Resources Family Page.  Transfer Request Forms are only needed once an interview is granted.  Approved transfers will generally occur following a 30 day transition period.

Scope

This policy applies to all the employees of the University.
