Shutdown of Interfaces to Residence Halls on CORE

Shutdown of Interfaces to Residence Halls on Core and Bringing the interfaces back up.

Purpose:

When there are circumstances where the network core needs isolated from possible rogue DHCP server requests perform the following:

Steps:

  1. Log into the core switch 10.10.1.254 and ensure you are in enable mode.
  2. Copy past the following into the command line to shutdown the interfaces connecting the Residence Halls.  The commands are in the attached notepad since MS Word can add undetected characters.
