TELEPHONE USER INSTRUCTIONS
SET PERSONAL RINGING
This can help distinguish your ringing phone from someone else’s. Press the “menu” button (which has the letter ‘A’ on it), then press the button to the right of the screen where “Options & Settings” is indicated. Press the button to the right of the screen where you see “Screen & Sound Options”, followed by the button to the right of the screen where you see “Personalized Ringing…” Using the “up” and “down” arrows (from the white circular group of buttons in the center of the keypad) scroll through the various ring “Patterns” to hear the various options. When you’ve found the ring pattern you wish to use press the leftmost black button just below the screen to “save” your choice. Press the “Phone” button (to the right of the round cluster of buttons).
When off the phone, the volume button with plus and minus to the right of the dialpad will adjust the phone's ring volume. When on the phone, the volume button will adjust the phone's handset volume. The red light on the upper right hand corner of the phone will also flash when your phone is ringing.
IF A PHONE IS NOT BEING STAFFED !!THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!
On the screen you will see two labels near the bottom, “Away” and “Available”. Just below the screen is a row of four black buttons and then two rows of white buttons. Make sure that if a phone is not being manned, the upper left white button is pushed (which corresponds to “Away” on the screen), causing the red light for that button to turn on. This will prevent that phone from receiving calls.
To activate again, press the next white button to the right (which corresponds to “Available” on the screen) so that the red light turns on for that button and the phone will again be able to receive calls.
IF “AWAY” and “AVAILABLE” LABELS DO NOT APPEAR ON YOUR SCREEN
Press the “SHIFT” button to the right of the screen to view the “Away” and “Available” labels once more.
