  1. This tech-note also troubleshoots missing assessment notifications for Peer Coaches, Peer Coach log in questions and assessment notification work arounds.
  2. Depending upon which you are trying to do, the following steps should help. An alternative to the following steps is an ePortfolio Orientation video that can be viewed by clicking this link: http://www.screencast.com/t/1JjV6QaM
  3. Note: If you are having troubles submitting to a Peer Coach, even when you have done everything right, sometimes your Peer Coach’s school firewall blocks the e-mail notifications sent by our assessment system. To resolve this, it may take some troubleshooting action from both you and your Peer Coach. These steps are included below and in the video training link above. STEP ONE for you: On your Dashboard tab (in your ePortfolio) is a section called News. You may need to expand it if you do not see a list of articles.   Find the News item for the MED Candidate Guidebook and use the View button on the right to access the document download link. Click on the link and open or save/download the .pdf (If saving, make sure you note where it is being saved on your computer so you can find it to open it.) IMPORTANT NOTE: This may be different than what you have received with your coursework. Next, using the same steps as above, find and download the MEd Peer Coach ePortfolio Guide from the News Section. You will need to send this document to your Peer Coach. The MED Candidate Guide will walk you through the steps to either share or submit your ePortfolio to ensure there is nothing you are missing. The easiest way to share is to use the Secure URL sharing and send it to yourself as the recipient. Then copy and paste the Secure URL from the ePortfolio to an e-mail and send it to whoever you would like to share the URL with. (see Page 18 Section C of the Candidate Guide) There is also a video tutorial here: http://www.screencast.com/t/cq0M6vLW9 Looking at the MEd Candidate Guide, use the quick reference index to jump right to the information you need as you may not need everything covered in the Guide. (Page 18 for ePortfolio sharing and Page 19 or 1st linked Video Timestamp {13:26} for Submitting completed ePortfolio Sections. If you are submitting assessment, follow the steps in the Guide and then verify your Peer Coach received the automated e-mail which should automatically come from the software once you have submitted using the Submit button.  If they did not receive an e-mail notification, please continue with the next steps. STEP 2 for your Peer Coach: There are several things that can get in the way of a successful submission and/or share.  The MEd Peer Coach ePortfolio Guide will walk them through some quick troubleshooting steps to ensure they can receive your submissions.
