Doc Sharing

Overview

Allows the sharing of documents.

Feature

Doc Sharing (Add Category)

  • Click on the Doc Sharing button on the top toolbar
  • Click Add Category
  • Type in Category title, then underneath click who you want to assign the category to. You have a choice of just the entire class since you are the instructor. Students can choose Entire Class or just Instructor. Please see the following instructor view screen shot.

 

  • Click Add Category button. If you wish to add another category, simply click on the Save and Add Another Category button. This will save the current category and allow you to add an additional one without exiting.

Doc Sharing (Upload Document)

  • In Author Mode, click on click on the blue Upload Document link (plus sign next to it. See Screen Shot.

  • Choose who you want to share the file with.
  • Click on Find New File-Browse. You will need to choose the file from your computer.
  • Click Upload Document (bottom screen next to Cancel button).  The larger the file the longer it will take to upload. You have 90 minutes before the action will timeout.
  • You should then see the document uploaded. Remember you can always choose Course mode to preview.
