Network Cameras

Overview

Video cameras are becoming a growing demand at Indiana Wesleyan University.  Network Services has been put in control of procuring and set up of cameras on our network.  Below you will find our process and procedure for acquiring a network camera.

Process

1.  Submit a ticket in Isupport requesting a camera or cameras and route to Network Services.  Please include building and room number and locations you will want cameras.

2.  Network Technician will come perform a site survey and assist in determining where cameras will be located and located nearest network ports.  In some cases we may need to pull network lines.  

3.  We will help procure a camera/s to fit your needs.

Note:   This is a new service.  We are in the process of vetting camera suppliers and will be working to upgrade our Milestone Server as it is past EoS.
