Confirm the Display

The display (projector or TV) may have multiple HDMI inputs. Select the one that has the ViewShare cable plugged into it.

Once the correct input is selected, the ViewShare welcome screen will appear, recognized by a black background, an image of a ViewShare transmitter plugged into the side of a laptop, and provided instructions and status update. This will disappear once your device is connected.

In the upper right corner of the welcome screen, the name of the device will appear. This is often either the name of the room or building, or the last name of the person to whom it has been assigned.

Connect the device

Plug the USB-C transmitter into the USB-C port of a laptop, tablet or smartphone which supports video output.

Wait a few seconds. Your screen should appear on the room's display automatically. If necessary, press the transmitter's button to initiate sharing.

When you are done using ViewShare

To temporarliy disconnect from the screen sharing session, press the button on the ViewShare dongle.

To end your screen sharing session, unplug the ViewShare dongle from the USB-C port on your device.
