Situation: You open your home folder (N:) to access some files but some or all of them are missing!
Problem: If you are using Offline Files, Windows might not be updating the contents of the folder, but only showing a “cached” view.
Solution 1: Check to make sure that all offline files have been synchronized. Right Click on the folder and choose “Synchronize.” Alternatively, in the system tray double-click on the Offline Files icon and choose to synchronize.
Solution 2: If that doesn't work, try another method of connecting to the server without using the mapped N: drive. Go to:
and look for the files. If you can see them now, go back to the N: drive and the view should now be updated.
