Run Smooth Instructions
Online Training Programs

First, please make sure you're using a compatible web browser. If you're using a Windows PC, you'll need one of the following web browsers:

Internet Explorer 6 or later
Netscape 7 or later
Firefox 1.0 or later

If you're using a Macintosh, you'll need one of the following web browsers:
Safari 1.3 or later
Netscape 7 or later
Firefox 1.0 or later

If you're using a browser on the approved list, there may be a problem with your computer's settings. Here are some things you can do to make sure WeComply programs run smoothly in Internet Explorer (refer to your browser's documentation if you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer):

  1. Clear your browser's cache: Select Tools -> Internet Options -> Temporary Internet Files -> Delete Files.
  2. Check your computer's default Internet Security settings: Select Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab

- Click "Custom Level"

- The "Reset to" box should be set at Medium. If it is not, select Medium and click Reset.

  1. Add WeComply to Trusted Sites: Select Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab

- Under "select a Web content zone..." Click the TRUSTED SITES icon
- Click the SITES button below
- Deselect "require server verification" and type https://www.wecomply.com in the "Add this Web site..." field.
- Click ADD and then OK to save changes

  1. If you're using Lotus Notes, copy the link to your company's sign-in page and paste it into your browser outside of Lotus Notes.
  2. If you have many applications open, close all non-essential applications while you're taking the WeComply program
  3. WeComply courses require all pop up blockers to be disabled. In Internet Explorer, you can disable the pop up blocker as follows: select Tools -> Pop-up Blocker -> Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.

Additionally, courses containing audio or video require the Flash Player plug-in (version 8 or later). You will need version 8 or later. Please be sure you are using a recent version. You can check at http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/. There should be a box on this page called "Version Information." If your computer does not have Flash installed or does not have version 8 or later, this page will direct you to download the latest version free of charge.

Taking the above actions will resolve nearly all issues experienced by users. If the cause is a bad internet connection, the user may want to take the training form another computer.

NOTE: A Smooth Run Information We Comply sheet is available on The Office of Multicultural Enrichment and Employee Development web site under the Documents section.
