OverviewEntering an ID in Colleague pulls up the wrong person
You enter a screen and look up based on a person ID, but an ID different than the one you entered unexpectedly shows up.
Remember that the Person LookUp box searches many fields including Names, Usernames, Emails, SSN's, and Alternate ID's. When you experience this problem, it could be caused by one of the following:
- The ID you searched on is an alternate ID for someone else
- The ID you searched on is part of someone else's SSN
Alternate ID's were automatically entered for accepted applicants while Residential Admissions was using Talisma. You can view/manage them on the DADD - Additional Demograhpics screen at the bottom.
