Reset Chrome Settings

Google Chrome gives you the option to reset your browser settings in one easy click. In some cases, programs that you install can change your Chrome settings without your knowledge. You may see additional extensions and toolbars or a different search engine. Resetting your browser settings will reset the unwanted changes caused by installing other programs. However, your saved bookmarks and passwords will not be cleared or changed.

In the event that Chrome becomes unpredictable or is unable to function normally, or if web pages will work in other browsers, but not in Chrome, you may want to try using the steps below to reset Chrome.  If you still have problems with an IWU supported website in Chrome after performing these steps, please contact the IWU Support Center at 1-800-621-8667, ext. 2209.

First Step

Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.

Second Step

Select Settings.

Third Step

Click Show advanced settings and find the "Reset settings” section.

Fourth Step

Click Reset settings.

Fifth Step

In the dialog box that appears, click Reset.
