How to Open an Archive in Outlook
Overview
Explains the process of how to open a archive (.pst) file in Outlook.
Note:If you are opening an archive file from the \\archive\pastemployees folder, you will need to copy the file to your computer (or other location with higher permissions) before it can be opened.
Steps:
Step 1
- In Outlook 2013 and higher, under the File tab, in the left column, select Open & Export.
Step 2
- In Outlook 2013 and higher, in the right column, select Open Outlook Data File.
Step 3
- Select your Outlook Archive File and hit "Open".
Step 4
- Your archive will now be on the left near the bottom.
