Business Process Redesign: The method used to improve any task performed in an organization. BPR is a discovery process to be used prior to implementation of a formal project of any size.
Any set of structured actions performed to create a desired outcome can be called a process. As such, processes have been in existence since the beginning of time. Since the design of the first process, efforts have been made to improve upon the design in hopes of improving performance.
Subject Matter Expert - A person who is highly knowledgeable on a given topic.
