Antivirus software prevents me from accessing selfservice.indwes.edu

Some antivirus software also filter the websites you visit. Its important to stay safe online, but some applications may generate a "false positive" and block a legitimate site. If this happens with self service, you can learn how to resolve that here.

Problem

When visiting https://selfservice.indwes.edu you may see a message similar to the screenshot below because your antivirus is generating a false positive for the selfservice URL.

Solution

We currently know that AVG antivirus and Avast both are generating false positives. You can add an exception for selfservice.indwes.edu by following your antivirus' documentation. If your antivirus isn't listed below and it is falsely flagging the url, please let us know by emailing IT.Support@indwes.edu
