About ACD Monitor

Overview

Provides general information about the ACD Monitor application.

ACD Monitor

The ACD Monitor application is made up of two components: a windows service which collects data from the phone system and a web application which renders the information for end users.

Service

ACD Monitor Service is a .NET application written in Visual Basic. The service uses SSH to connect to the phone system and retrieve specific data related to a specified phone split. The service repeatedly refreshes the information on a specified interval, formats it as XML and writes it into a XML file. The behavior of the service can be configured by modifying the options.xml file in C:\Program Files (x86)\IWU

Web application

The ACD Monitor web app is a simple front end user interface designed to consume the XML output from the ACD Monitor Service and display the current ACD queue status in (near) realtime. It is optimized for viewing on small screens and mobile devices.
