Submitting an Assignment - Workaround

​Goal

To provide alternative workarounds for submitting an assignment until such time the current assignment submission issue is resolved.

Issue

When navigating to an Assignment content page and attempting to submit an assignment through the "Access the Assignment submission page", users may encounter an issue after selecting the "Add a file" button.

The pop-up box to select and upload the file may be grayed out.

If this occurs, close out the browser window and navigate back to your course in Brightspace and submit your assignment using one of the workarounds listed below.

Option 1

1.  Select "Activities" from the course navbar and choose "Assignments" from the dropdown menu.

2.  Select the assignment link you would like to submit to.

3.  Select the "Add a File" button and upload your assignment as usual.

Option 2
