Goal

After completing this how-to article you will have the ability to dismiss announcements, as well as the ability to review past and dismissed announcements.

Description

  • The Announcements widget will display the most current course or global announcements.Announcements example: Welcome, Your Name! heading Welcome to the Sample Course! You will be challenged throughout this course, but if you stay motivated and are not afraid to reach out to myself or your fellow students than you will make it to the end!
  • To dismiss an announcement, select the "X" button on the far right of the title.
  • The most recent five announcements are displayed within the announcements widget. To view announcements that you previously dismissed or those that are not the most recent five, select the Announcements title located at the top of the widget or the Show All Announcements link located on the bottom left of the oldest announcement.
