Meeting Spaces at IWU Regional Education Centers

All of the teaching stations at the education centers have a standard user interface. The Spectrum cart (commonly called a Smart Cart) houses the source devices, including a desktop PC, along with a switcher/scaler and audio amplifier.  The projector and speakers are ceiling mounted. A pull-down projection screen is located at the front of the room, above the dry erase whiteboard. A computer monitor displays the selected video source, regardless of whether the projector is on or off.

Both an HDMI cable and a USB-C cable are located on top of the cart for connecting a laptop or table to the projector and room speakers . The USB-C cable also provides power to charge mobile devices. A power outlet is available for powering a laptop or mobile devices. A network jack or cable is available for connecting a laptop to the internet.

Large, and Double rooms have wireless microphones to ensure the audience seated in the back of the room can hear a teacher or presenter.

Some of the centers have mobile video conferencing solutions which can be rolled into a reserved meeting space.
