Meeting Spaces at IWU Regional Education Centers

All of the teaching stations at the education centers have a standard user interface. The Spectrum cart (commonly called a Smart Cart) houses the source devices, including a desktop PC. Some other options include a Blu-Ray player, along with a switcher/scaler and audio amplifier.  The projector and speakers are ceiling mounted. A pull-down projection screen is located at the front of the classroom, above the dry erase whiteboard. A computer monitor displays the selected video source, regardless of whether the projector is on or off.

An HDMI cable is located on top of the cart for connecting a laptop to the projector and room speakers . A network jack or cable is available for connecting a laptop to the internet. A power outlet is available for powering a laptop or mobile devices.

A few classrooms have been augmented with video conferencing equipment. Other centers have mobile video conferencing solutions which can be rolled into a reserved meeting space.
