Initial Actions in the Virtual Assistant


**The Virtual Assistant tool will be available in Brightspace on March 5th, 2024.**

Two buttons are initially available for quick access to support options custom to IWU. The options are only accessible at the start of a new chat session. For assistance reinitiating the chat session if you have already asked a question, please refer to the Overview of the Virtual Assistant article.


  • The Report Course Content Issue button is solely for individuals who take courses with National & Global or Wesley Seminary. Students who attend classes on the main campus in Marion, Indiana, are to contact their faculty directly about any issues with course content.
  • The Knowledge Base button provides quick access to the main article and video guides for Brightspace provided by IWU.User Response: Knowledge Base. Bot Response: IWU’s knowledge base articles and video guides exist to help you learn about the Brightspace learning environment. These cover features, functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting tips for common issues: Student articles, Student video guides, Faculty articles
